Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Part 60: Traversing Down to Lower Tantal
Now I'm trying to travel down to the lower areas of Tantal. This titan is massive to travel through, like Gormott is. Thank goodness for Skip Travel!
There will be a lot of monsters to fight on the way down.
There are different ways to reach the bottom. You can either take the stairs, or use the huge icy slide at 28:35. If you can jump off its edge at just the right time, you an reach that big well. Unfortunately, I sucked at doing that, so that will have to wait until later.
----------
In Lower Tantal, the Great Pillage Passage is the path that will eventually lead towards the Omega Fetter.
Mòrag had to pause and think about the nature of Tantal's development. She thought there was more to its King's rejection of Indol's message that Amalthus gave to Rex.
No one had any clue of why there could possibly be any conflict betwen Tantal and Indol. Rex recalled about Jin talking about the last state of humanity, and how that may have caused the conflicts, and from there, Pyra believed that she wasn't meant to be sealed away as she was...
----------
Reaching the Memorial Ruins, Azurda recognizes the place as an Aegis War battleground.
Besides the Artifice Ophion, there was also Artifice Siren, which Mythra commands. Meanwhile Malos had an endless number of Artifices at his disposal.
Artifices are very powerful weapons that transcend the existence of Alrest's own inhabitants. They were made by The Architect just like the Aegises.
All this did was further inspire Rex's desire to reach Elysium and get all of the answers he and Pyra and Mythra sought for.
----------
On the other side of the Memorial Ruins, the team finally reached the Omega Fetter at the Genbu Crown.
Inside that crown, Zeke unlocks the Omega Fetter, Ophion's control core, and Mythra is called in to fix it. Pandora then uses her power to raise Genbu out of the Cloud Sea, thus saving Tantal from certain doom.
The team then collected that core, and then went on their way back. Surely nothing could go wrong during this, right...?
