3We have no response to the alien heavy infantry. In the late fourteenth century, humanity had abandoned the concept of the man in armor. The aliens have proven the need to at least reconsider our stance in modern times. Even our lasers have been found to be ineffective against their troops. We have not so much as recovered one of their heavy infantrymen's remains for study. They have shocked us with a reintroduction of heavy infantry, and now it is on us to adapt. The alien high command has been analyzing their new troops' response to the human frontier.
The Sebillians may be replaced in their capacity as shock troops. It may take a few decades to reorient their purposes at a genetic level. We may just cull their warrior caste and maintain their capacity for menial labor. We will continue to mold them to that end and phase out their less unsociable tendencies. The Caesans remain important research assistants. There are so many possibilities for our soon to be human subjects. Here are the mods I used.
