The Xenonauts encountered alien psionics for the first time. The thought that they can read our minds is disturbing, but we were able to detain two of the alien psychics at great cost. The sacrifices made by our troops will be instrumental to unravel just what exactly these aliens want from Earth and from us. We have very little understanding of this grand armada blockading Earth or any critical vulnerabilities that we may attempt to exploit. Maybe now we will understand their ultimate goals. As terrifying as those may be it will allow us to better circumvent such an endstate. The aliens only assume that their comrades have perished, although the possibility of a leak is wholly possible.

The Caesans have reemerged with their psion shock troops. They are an elite corps of exceptionally talented psychics that have been specially trained to carry out sensitive missions. Even the Sebillians respect at least these Caesan as formidable warriors albeit grudgingly. The high command was successful in forcing their hand but has decided to expend additional material in order to not waste these advanced soldiers on this backward though important future bulwark for the empire. The Caesans have at least displayed their commitment to the cause of conquering Earth, because the psion shock troops are especially valued by their society. Although, any directives from the high command are always to be carried out, this act of compliance should be rewarded with heavy infantry.

This episode is exactly what this channel is all about. Just a transparent playthrough of a tough game without save scumming. As you can tell I do not pitch a fit and taking my beatings in stride. Hopefully, if I do triumph in the end the victory will be more rewarding because I had earned the win legitimately. That being said a failed campaign will be given the same standing as a more positive ending. I love RNG because victory is not always assured and you will need to adapt to a variety of situations that you otherwise would not need to worry about. Maybe I will do better next time.
