This is the most boring episode to the extent that it is skippable. However, it is probably important to play through this mission for the context of what happens after. Therefore, I decided to upload it. I think it is important to provide this forewarning. Because I would probably watch it out of obligation alone which is not fun. Basically, there is a tactical battle and only one Xeno to pick off. Now for some lore.

The reticent Caesans have begun limiting the amount of personal to scout detachments. The old race fears the dark abyss of death. The sneering Sebillians know nothing of the eons, let them bare their teeth, and mock the superior Caesan ways. Is it not smarter to limit the amount of risk to our people, rather than allowing them to die in droves as the willing Sebillians would prefer? The library of memories lost and forgotten to the devouring depths of time, they know not of the indignity wrought upon our crewmen!ng people. We will research new ways to torture and humiliate them if there is justice in this universe it will be by the hands of those that remember the lost still as we carry on with this new vision for the universe. Humanity was unaware of the damage it had inflicted upon a seemingly superior spacefaring race of high handed telepaths.

The victory was well earned, as the Hitchhiker crew provided their usual after action report with enthusiasm. The Sebillians were unable to formulate a plan to combat the Xenonauts new tactical doctrine. It was true that they were learning on the job, but humanity has a knack for finding the solution in the twelfth hour. The oftentimes pessimistic scientists concluded that humanity might be abnormally adaptive, in so far as much that as a planet we have advanced rapidly in relation to the seemingly ancient aliens. Perhaps another reason to wipe us out if not to colonize our planet, in truth we can only speculate as to why they have committed these hostile actions against us. Though the planet may be split between East and West, at least here we have a common purpose for the betterment of humanity.

I was surprised by the success of the last mission. Not only was I war weary (which happens after a stressful night mission), but I was unconfident of how well we could engage a Caesan detachment in the dark. This time we at least used our flares to positive effect, and I am confident in saying that this was the reason why we were able to survive in the way that we had. I generally prefer fighting Sebillians myself, due to them being more likely to run out and greet you boldly with spent time units out of pocket. In my experience, my tactics are less effective against an opponent more willing to stand and fight with greater focus, not to mention accuracy. In any case, our volume of fire was enough to pepper them to an early grave. Here's what to expect from this channel in the near future.

I am swamped with school and work, however, I will be making those general channel videos soon. More presciently, we will continue to release our daily Xenonaut and Fire Emblem Episodes. My library of Xenonaut episodes is running thin so I plan to set time aside to record more so I can keep apace with this upload schedule. It may sound counterintuitive, but I have more trouble with those 2016 Fire Emblem videos because they are not in the YouTube standard MP4 and lack the text or castle images that you will see in them. I think that I quickly got used to this instant internet speed because editing those Fire Emblem vids for public consumption involves a whole lot of waiting despite the strength of my computer tower. Shooting these ones is a relative breeze, but after I get those Shadow Dragon ones out of the way we can reorient into one a day serials with a more creative second video for that week. I am having a blast running this channel though, see you next go round if this episode does not bum you all out.
