0Starting their investigation into Kazuki's involvement with the foreigners who bombed Millennium Tower, Date and Kawara arrive to Stardust and, in order to test Kazuki, tell him that Tokyo police will organize a raid in Kamurocho in order to arrest all illegal immigrants working in the district in retalliation for the Millennium Tower bombing, advising him to close the club down for awhile in order to avoid being caught in the cross-fire. Once Kazuki leaves them, two detectives observe his behavior as he starts to close the club down and see him running out of the club, confirming their suspicions with two detectives giving chase after Kazuki.
Meanwhile, as they prepare to set out towards Amano Building in order to find Daigo and Jin, Kiryu and Kaoru are intercepted by Yuya who tells them about the incident in Stardust involving Kazuki, Date and Kawara with Kiryu remaining concerned about Kazuki's uncharacteristic behavior but focused on reaching Amano Building, telling Yuya to stay put and notify him should something happen. Once they reach the building, Kiryu and Kaoru discover that it serves as an hideout of the local gang of delinquents known as 16-Bit who were recently chased out of the building by a group of foreign gangsters. With the building enterance being locked down, Kiryu and Kaoru are forced to track down the gang's leader who has the building key and, upon doing so and taking the key from him, Kiryu opts to enter the building alone in order to find Daigo while Kaoru decides to stay in front of the building as an backup should Kiryu run into trouble inside. Within the building, Kiryu finds himself fighting multiple foreign gangsters and eventually reaches the building's rooftop where he finds Date and Kawara confronting Kazuki and what appears to be his doppelganger. As he asks what happened, Kiryu discovers that Date and Kawara followed one Kazuki from Stardust and cornered him at the rooftop where another one was located. As both Kazukis try to convince Kiryu that they are real Kazuki and that the other is an impostor, Kiryu tells two detectives that he arrived to the building after being lured into a trap before Kawara suddenly aims his revolver at the Kazuki him and Date were pursuing from Stardust, explaining that he knows that he is not real Kazuki due to his voice sounding different from real Kazuki. Unconvinced. Date refuses to let him shoot with the fake Kazuki using a moment of two detectives' inattention to reach for his handguns and shoot both real Kazuki and Kawara, injuring them. With Kiryu and Date at his mercy, fake Kazuki reveals that he was the mysterious caller who called Kazuki to the building and that his plan is to kill all four men currently present on the rooftop and frame it as an fight during which four men killed each other. However, before the impostor is able to shoot again, he is shot through the head and killed by Kaoru who reveals to have rushed into the building upon hearing gunshots. With police approaching the building, Date, Kiryu and Kaoru set off to leave with injured Kawara and real Kazuki in tow...
