2While Gabe continues his testimony in Washington D.C., Lian continues to track the Irish shipment of Syphon Filter scuttled by Gabe and Maggie Powers. With the manifest collected by Gabe during his infiltration aboard S.S. Lorelei revealing that the Syphon Filter from Ireland originated from Consortium's testing facility located in the remote part of Australia and was signed for by Elsa Weissinger who started to directly work for Consortium following the collapse of The Agency, Lian teams up with Maggie in order to infiltrate the facility and kidnap her, aware that her expertise in virology will be necessary to effectively combat Syphon Filter. Once within the grounds of the facility, Lian discovers that the Consortium has developed a new strain of Syphon Filter which is being tested on the Aboriginal natives and that with the testing of the strain nearing completion, commander of the facility named Silvers has been ordered to eliminate both the surviving test subjects and researchers who worked in the facility. Intent on preventing that, Lian makes contact with Weissinger, discovering that she expected Mara Aramov to collect her. As Lian tells Weissinger that the termination order for all personnel has been given out and that no one is coming for her, the researcher realizes that she has been betrayed by the Consortium and agrees to go with Lian, asking her to collect the components needed to synthensize the vaccine for the newest Syphon Filter strain before they fight their way to the nearby helicopter with Lian piloting it to the outskirts of the nearby village where Silvers is preparing to execute the surviving test subjects. Before Lian heads out, Weissinger gives her a data disc containing all information on the Consortium, claiming that since her employers have left her for dead, she has no qualms about betraying them in return. Leaving Weissinger with the helicopter and armed with doses of the vaccine synthensized by her, Lian infiltrates the village, intent on curing the surviving test subjects and saving them from being executed by assassinating Silvers before he can give the elimination order. After eventually freeing six surviving test subjects and killing Silvers, Lian makes her way back to the helicopter only to discover Weissinger gone. However, with the disc containing the evidence against Consortium left intact, Lian contacts Maggie, intent on returning to Washington and having the disc decrypted...
