Playthrough | Part 12 – Chapter 8: Conspirators
Difficulty: Normal
Kiryu beat Majima fair and square so now he decides to help us. We now begin Chapter 8: Conspirators.
Kiryu meets with Majima, and he explains his side of things. Turns out it was Hamazaki who gave Majima the contract. To make matters worse, he decides to get involved hoping to get the resort deal. It's then we reunite with the Florist of Sai. Turns out he's no longer a cop and has returned back here. To make matters worse, Daigo asked Florist for his help. He explains things to him, stating that there was a traitor in the Tojo Clan. We also learn of the guy that looks like Kazama. But things go from bad to worse as the Snake Flower Triad, led by Lau Ka Long have made their move. They're after Rikiya so now we got to move.
What follows is Kiryu taking on Snake Flower goons. They're annoying but not a pain to contend with and you'll have to deal with a lot of them. Eventually you'll encounter Lau Ka Long himself. Remember him from Kiwami? He's back and he's out for revenge. He alligned with Hamazaki just for that reason. So now we got to take him down.
Lau ka Long is a nasty bugger. Believe me. He has a spear that will deal major damage plus his hits will stun you. So, you need to take advantage of using fast weapons to take him down. Once you destroy his spear, he'll pack claws. You got to dodge them as they can't be blocked. Pack healing items to be safe and take advantage of Heat Actions.
Lau is defeated by he orders his guy to kill Rikiya. Suddenly the assassin shows up and shoots Lau and some of the goons. Rikiya is saved but Kiryu wants to know if he is really Shintaro Kazama. But he isn't because he speaks English. He does know about Shintaro though, his brother. This mystery just keeps getting stranger.
