Product provided by Idea Factory International. We got another one and it's most likely the last for a while regarding this series. But I figure it would be really appropriate since you know I will inevitably do a playthrough of the Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy. This is Neptunia ReVerse.
This game came out in 2021, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original Hyperdimension Neptunia game. What makes this unique is that this is basically a remake of the first game. This game has two modes: original and arrange. Original lets you play the original game as intended. Arrange on the other hand is a little bit special. It's the same game but you get access to every single party member right from the start. If you just want to start the game with everyone available, there you go.
The game is an RPG, first and foremost. You can only have up to 4 party members at a time, whereas in the original, you can only have 3. But this game can let you add reserve members, raising it up to 8. So if things get really dire for one of your allies, you can have them Switch. This adds a level of strategy that I find awesome. Not to mention a combo system where with the right moves will make sure you can deal the most amount of damage. Not to mention the reserve system can also allow you to get access to a plethora of abilities. But you got to work to forge those bonds. Forging bonds is what will make a difference in battle and you'll need it to tackle this game.
If you never played the original back on the PS3, this is a good opportunity for you to get into. Know one thing. I will be doing a full playthrough of the entire Neptunia Re;Birth Trilogy on the Nintendo Switch. Thank you Eastasiasoft. Just wanted to share this because why the hell not.
As far as this game goes, I enjoy it. Look forward to my playthrough of the Neptunia Re:Birth trilogy on Switch soon. I'm going to stick it to Nintendo of America & Europe. Count on it.
