YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG Bug Report - Controller Triggers doesn't work properly within Steam Input

Ever since I bought YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG, I've been having this issue whenever I use Steam Input using DualShock 4 and Steam Controller, and it has something to do with the way how XInput and Steam Input is handled in YIIK.

To demonstrate this, I'm running on the Steam Version of YIIK: A Postmodern RPG Game Version 1.071 using DualShock 4 and Steam Controller with Steam Input, DS4Windows (Ryochan7 Version) and SC-Controller (User-Driver version). Due to the way how YIIK Handles Controller Support on PC; I have set the game to XInput Mode for this video, this is necessary.

Steam Input - DualShock 4: 0:00

For Additional Context:

Normally, every new game (including Indies) tends to automatically switch inputs on the fly. If I connect a DualShock 4 or Xbox Controller, then the game will detect a specific controller immediately.

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG doesn't do that. When you Start a New Game, the game will first ask you which Controller Types: DualShock 4, XBOne (Xbox One Controller) and Keyboard, but in normal gameplay, you can change Controller Type within the Game Menu.

Sounds normal? But those who have never played any games built using Unity (and uses Unity's own Input Library system pre Unity 2019) will find out that not only it will change Glyphs, but it will ALSO change the entire Input Library. Those who play on Steam and happened to opt-in to Steam Input will have this problem and they may not realize.

In addition to that, if you happen to use several controllers (like me), I have to MANUALLY change that every time I do so. Have Fun.

This is more of a limitation of YIIK's Controller Support system, and I highly suggest you to choose "Xbone Controller Support" and that's it.

In addition, one of the Input Bindings called "XBoneLeftTrigger" and "XBoneRightTrigger" will not work properly if Steam Input is activated, but works outside of Steam Input for some reason. Since most PC Gamers relies on Input Mappers (ESPECIALLY Nintendo Switch Controllers), this becomes a problem for Steam's Gamepad Emulation. As far as I can tell: This doesn't happen with either DS4Windows or SC-Controller.

The developers are already aware of this problem as of making of this video.
