Introduced in Steam Client Beta on November 18th, 2020: one of the requested Input Style is added to Steam Input Gamepad Configurator (or Steam Controller Configurator): Directional Swipe.

How does Directional Swipe works? you swipe in four direction to trigger an action, it can be used for Quick Menu Shortcuts akin to Days Gone's DualShock 4 Touchpad or switching to a specific weapon with a Swipe of a finger instead of Clicking/Touching on the Steam Controller. (Gyro Input can be used as well)
