Ys X Nordics: Level 99 Secret Boss (Hard Mode)

Vermod is the strongest foe in the game... at least level wise. Is he the hardest boss? I'm not quite sure but he's certainly the longest fight in the game.
I would honestly advise grinding to level 90 in order to unlock the final team attack which nukes everything and can make his massive health pool of almost 400,000 HP a little less steep.
So this fight is weird as there's really only 2 distinct phases I know of but his AI becomes far deadlier the weaker he gets.
At full HP he's basically just a buffed up Iji with the ability to summon lightning from time to time nothing too scary.
But once that shield breaks all bets are off as his lightning slam begins having shockwaves that get larger and deadlier the lower his HP gets, he can jump across the arena and start throwing projectiles at you, he conjures a giant hammer that actually becomes a great parry opportunity later on, and worst is his massive boulder that he throws at you. If you see this JUST GUARD DO NOT TRY TO BE FANCY IT WILL ONE SHOT YOU NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Each Ys Superboss has that one attack that I'm genuinely scared of and don't mess with. For Melaiduma it's the black hole, for Vakh Medeo it's the flurry of bite attacks, for Vermod it's the big fucking rock.
Otherwise each time he regrows his armor he'll become more aggressive and the lightning becomes deadlier with a larger and more damaging shockwave... and it lasts much longer. He'll regrow his armor at 50%HP(ish) 25%HP and very cheekily he'll hang on with 1HP and Reforge his armor one last time and basically put the fight in a permanent lightning storm.
Once you win congratulation you have more than enough runes to unlock all you seals and probably enough for anything else... don't think the final boss is gonna be easy though we're still in for a challenge.
Also I can't say this for certain but beating this boss seems like it was the trigger for letting me access the remaining bonding events (you probably need to kill Despiero and save Karnak as well but I feel it's worth mentioning)
