Just moved to new school - All I gotta say is I'll probably not be able to upload as frequently anymore. My head here is trynna adapt to the American academic system, and oh boy the whole thing sure is challenging. Change of schedules/lessons is driving me nuts. Not to mention every news and announcements from school are now sent digitally: since I have three accounts to manage in my mailbox, the entire app would look like a freakin mess every morning I wake up :vv Hell, it takes about one hour for me to clear everything that isn't read. And guess what? Homeworks are published online. So you can kinda imagine the average amount of batteries I drained each week from both the laptop, the computer, my ipad, and my phone to finish all the work. I'm starting to wonder what would happen if the school site got hacked, ngl - they rely so much on technology that I'm actually somewhat scare of using my devices now lol. I had to read books over the weekend as a substitute hobby instead, just to give my eyes and my hand a break from all the typing.

That's enough of me ranting tho. Today's amv will be dedicated to femslash/yuri, since there are a serious lack of contents for them in the anime community. Sure, Citrus is an exception-- but tbh I just couldn't get into its story. Everything was just so convoluted and dramatic, and I thought the dynamic was kind of abusive as well. It remind of me of Otoko Dakaretai (yaoi, btw), which was entertaining to watch at first glance, but leaves a weird aftertaste in my mind. Something is just terribly off with those two series - it's hard to explain :vv I'm sorry for not being on the majority's side right now-- but I guess they're not my cup of tea when it comes to LGBT anime.

It's pretty freakin hard to find a yuri series btw. I was about to give up until someone made the reccomendation of "Bloom into you". Saw the scene, the review, love it; and then got on the show right away. This was by far the most tender, complex and interesting romance anime I've ever seen. I love both Nanami and Yuu as standalone characters. Their stories were miles different, and it was just so interesting to see both worlds collide, as they try and fall in love. I esepcially empathize with Yuu, a girl who struggles to accept the idea of loving someone, to be in love. As if the concept of it is just entirely foreign and unreachable for her. It's just so darn refreshing to have a character with that kind of perspective. And really, that's what most romance anime is missing. I need interesting characters, not just archetypes (except when its done right), and I need a spice of realism, too.

Anyhow, since the aesthetic of this song fits really well with the color pallette of Bloom Into You, I thought I'd pair them together. You are entirely welcome to give feedbacks in the comment, or make reccomendation of LGBT anime I could watch. Enjoy!
