53Yes, yes - I know it’s been years since Kakegurui was released, But holy shit this song. Man do this song slaps. As soon as I heard it I knew I had to edit it with these psychopathic bitches. I live for the aesthetic of Lady Gaga, and here, collaborating with the equally talented BLACKPINK, she sounded so out-of-this-world. This is definitely her and BLACKPINK’s most underrated work. Seriously. Those electric beats are addicting enough to bring some sort of carnal energy out from its listeners, and I’m not ashamed to say I’m one of them (well-- kinda •x• , but you get my point)
And hey, speaking of Kakegurui, the anime has got to be one of my biggest guilty pleasures ever. It’s so convoluted, so over-the-top; but the animation is fantastic and so are the voice actresses. It also contained the biggest number of yuri baits I’ve ever seen in anime. Hell, I actually find Mary a lot more likable in this adaptation, to the point where I had no shame shipping her with Yumeko AND Suzui. I wasn't a multishipper before, but here we are I guess xDD It’s an evolution of a fangirl smjimajn
-Also also. Kirari Momobami. Just. Dang. I had mixed feelings about her in the manga, but as soon as I heard Miyuki Sawashiro's voice and the way they animated her sardonic smile; I’m snagged. Her vibe, her attitude and her aesthetic just draws you in right away. Kind of like a real pretty snake. I know that’s the term she used to describe Yumeko, but the animal’s clearly a closer association to her own character. Convince me otherwise.
