Previously, Link finished the side quest "Slated for Upgrades" for Purah at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. His Sheikah Slate runes are upgraded. He also started carrying out side quests in the Lanayru region, including in Zora's Domain. Now, he will continue sidequesting with a quest in the Lanayru region.

Link resumes at his house in Hateno Village.

He teleports to the Divine Beast Vah Ruta (time 0:45). He puts on his Zora gear.

Link glides northwest. He lands at the Bank of Wishes.

At the Bank of Wishes, Link talks to a Zora girl named Finley (time 1:59). She plans to place a container with her love letter into Zora River. She wants Link to follow the container and find out who has been responding to her letters. However, the container breaks easily. This starts the side quest "Special Delivery".

Link begins following Finley's letter down Zora River (time 4:57). There is a barricade not far downstream. Link should blow it up before the container arrives, or the container will be destroyed. The container should be completely safe until it goes down the second waterfall.

In the vicinity of the next bridge, start looking out for Water Octoroks. Their stone-spitting attacks will destroy the container. Link will have no problem carrying the container part of the way, if he so chooses. That may make it easier to babysit. There are also Lizalfos in the area.

Eventually, Link crosses the Inogo Bridge (time 12:29). He should keep looking out for enemies in the area.

Past the drop just northwest of the Inogo Bridge, Link finds a chest containing a Bomb Arrow by the water (time 13:23). A single Bomb Arrow.

Link also encounters a Yiga Blademaster (time 13:36). Yiga Blademasters have blade beam attacks. They can also send devastating whirlwinds at Link.

After defeating the Yiga Blademaster, Link photographs the enemy's Windcleaver for the Hyrule Compendium (time 14:33). He claims it for the quest "The Weapon Connoisseur".

Link continues babysitting Finley's letter container downstream. There are still Water Octoroks in the river, so be careful.

At a Lizalfos camp, Link photographs a Throwing Spear for the compendium.

Southwest of the intersection, there is a Lizalfos camp on the water. There is a blockage in the water. If Link allowed the container to float downstream, he must be careful to destroy the blockage before the container arrives. Otherwise, he would risk blowing up the container.

As for me, I throw the container into the water just past the blockage. Look out for a Water Octorok in the water.

On the western platform, a chest contains 10 Arrows (time 20:22).

Eventually, the current will carry the barrel to an inlet in the southeast of Mercay Island. A scene will take place when Link and the barrel reach a Hylian man's campsite (time 21:47). This Hylian is Sasan, a traveling merchant. Link gives him some encouragement. Sasann decides to go to Zora's Domain to meet Finley.

Link teleports to the Ne'ez Yohma Shrine in Zora's Domain (time 23:45). At the inn, he uses the cookfire to rest until morning.

Link catches up with Finley and Sasan on a western platform (time 25:23). They reward Link with a Gold Rupee, worth 300 rupees. "Special Delivery" complete!

Link teleports to the Myahm Agana Shrine in Hateno Village (time 26:57). He rests until noon.

For "The Weapon Connoisseur", Link shows the Windcleaver to Nebb (time 29:26). Nebb rewards Link with a Silver Rupee, worth 100 rupees. Next, Nebb asks to see an Ancient Battle Axe+. This can be obtained from a Guardian Scout III during a Modest Test of Strength shrine trial.
