For syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 TBL corn syrup
3/4 cup water
1 packet strawberry drink mix
To make Fairy Elixir:
Crushed ice, seltzer, half and half or cream, whipped cream, glitter sugar
In a small sauce pot, combine sugar, water and corn syrup. Bring to a boil.
Take off the heat and stir in drink mix. I use strawberry, but you can use any flavor so long as it’s red or pink. Once combined, pour into a mason jar and allow it to come to room temperature. Keep it refrigerated.
To make a Fairy Elixir: fill a tall glass or champagne flute with ice. Drizzle on a few spoonfuls of syrup. Slowly pour on club soda. Finish with a hit of cream or half and half. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle on sugar if desired. Plunge a straw in to mix and drink immediately.
