An indie brawler the developed asked us to look at. Clearly inspired by games such as Golden Axe and Double Dragon. The game's story and setting is based around Greek mythology. The first title by developer, The Dude Games, sees you playing as Zeus who has to fight and shoot his way to Olympus, to defeat his father Cronus. It's not a big game and can be finished in around an hour. There's not a huge about of gameplay to it, no unlockable moves or hidden stages. Stages switch between fighting and shooting, with the stages where Zeus has to travel between locations, playing like an old school shumps.
While we think the starting price is somewhat high. If you want a odd school fighter on PC, then you could do far worse. For a first title it isn't bad, but it could do with some more polish around the edges, to make Zeus Begins really stand out from the crowd. The lack of animation on some enemies makes then look very bland.
