Nemo Dungeon - PC - First stage and boss, hack & slash meets rogue & shooter gameplay [UHD 4K60]
Another rather unique fun playing and quirky title that recently released on Steam. At the base of the game is a rogue dungeon with each stage randomly generated every time you play it. There are three characters to select, but the second and third are locked out at first. However, they can be unlocked fairly quickly, as are the moves for each character.
Now the gameplay has some RPGs elements with an upgrade system that allows you to buy improvements for your character in each room, once all the enemies have been defeated. However, the power ups changes from room to room and you won't have enough gold to buy from every room.
The game plays like the top down combat action of the Legend of Zelda series crossed with a shmup. You can attack enemies or direct their bullets right back at them. Dodging is key to winning in the game as some stages are more akin to a bullet hell shooters than anything else. A rather upbeat soundtrack, goes nicely with the bright cube graphics of the game.
This is not for the faint hearted as it is one tough cookie, but if you want a challenge and like rogue game this is one to check out.
