Zombie Nation (NES) - Full Run with No Deaths
Full playthrough of Zombie Nation or "Samurai Zombie Nation" as it's called on the title screen. In Japan it's called Abarenbou Tengu (暴れん坊天狗). This was played on the default/easy difficulty using the real cartridge and console, my final score was 464,700.

Well this game...is bizarre. Basically aliens have invaded and turned everyone in America into evil zombies, at least that's what the story tells us. You play as a flying head shooting spit and rescuing people from exploding buildings (that you are responsible for destroying).
In your quest to liberate America you will fight the Statue of Liberty itself, which has now turned into some soft of Medusa head. Additional bosses include a giant muscle zombie that throws axes, the military itself, and some snake like things which I can't even describe. The final boss is an alien that just sits around until you kill it.
So besides the ridiculous setting and hero, the gameplay is equally bizarre. The first thing you will notice is that the flying head has momentum and requires some finesse in order to control properly. There is also a massive difference in the damage you take depending on what you hit, with standard enemies barely doing anything while the lightning, gas plums, and electric fields will bring you to near death in a single hit. The naked zombie boss will also kill you in 1 hit with his axes.
Powering your hero up consists of rescuing people, and after you rescue enough of them it will increase your spitting power. There are 2 levels you can increase it beyond the initial, and further powerups come in the form of bombs which kill everything on the screen.
This playthrough represents the default/easy difficulty, stay turned for hard mode.
