Pacifist runs of Zombies Ate My Neighbors are TOUGH and take a LOT of practice and strategy, and this challenge in Antstream Arcade is no exception. In this challenge, you can't use weapons at all although you can use some of the items to tackle the enemies on screen.

Perhaps, the best experience in doing this pacifist run is on Genesis and SNES versions, not the compilation version ported by DotEmu.
