Zucco says he has a majority in the Chamber to support amnesty

🏛 ️ Congressional Power | Federal Deputy Zucco (PL-RS) declared this Tuesday (September 9, 2025), upon arriving at the Supreme Federal Court (STF) to monitor the resumption of the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), that the Chamber already has a majority to bring to the floor the proposal for amnesty for those convicted of the January 8th acts.
According to him, the negotiations involve leaders from different parties and are not limited to the opposition. "We already have a majority today. The estimate is over 300 votes. No one is asking here to approve the amnesty, but if there is sufficient support, why not put it on the agenda?" he said.
