***NOTE***
The CPU and motherboard in this system are overclockable. With that being said, you will need an aftermarket cooler in order to overclock safely, and I would also recommend upgrading the power supply to at least 550W in order to overclock. With that being said, if you don't plan on overclocking, disregard this. You're good to go!

About this video: This video goes over an incredible $1,000 gaming PC that will be able to run all modern games without any issues! I have tried my best to build a gaming PC that will let you game for the next 4-5 year without any problems. To this, we have picked an AMD CPU, a Nvidia GPU, and we will be rocking 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Let's go over this thing!
For the CPU, we are going with an AMD Ryzen 7 2700. Now, sure, this processor isn't overclockable, but from my experience, people shopping in the $1,000 price range don't really care about overclocking. Luckily, this CPU has a great base clock at 3.2GHz with a boost clock of 41GHz. This will be great for any and all modern games and will give you plenty of power for years to come.
Moving on to the motherboard, we are going to be using an MSI B350 PC Mate full ATX motherboard. With support up to 64GB or RAM, the ability to run our Ryzen 7 CPU out of the box, and plenty of PCI slots for expansion cards in the future, this motherboard will great for our $1,000 gaming PC build!
As far as RAM goes, we are going with two 8GB sticks of Team Elite Plus DDR4 RAM. This will be plenty for the system, but the good thing is, you can easily upgrade your RAM to 32GB by adding in two more 8GB sticks!
Four our HDD and SSD, we are going with a great combo from Western Digital. The HDD will be a 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue. This drive will be great for all of our media files, large games, and any other huge files. For our SSD, we are going with a 240GB Western Digital Green SSD. This will hold our OS, programs, and any other files that need to be accessed super quickly.
Now, on to what you've all been waiting for - the graphics card. The GPU we are going with in this system is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card. This GPU will be great for any and all modern games you decide to throw at it. It will also let you do some live streaming if you would like while still being able to game.
We aren't quite done yet though. We still need a case and a power supply. For our case, we are going with a Deepcoll Tesseract SW. This is a great full ATX case that has blue LED light in the fans with fans located in the back and front of the system. For the power supply, we are going with an EVGA B3 450W 80+ Bronze Certified fully modular power supply. This will give you plenty of power for this system along with great cable management!
And there you have it! That is a $1,000 gaming PC build in 2018. If you have any questions about this $1,000 PC build, please let me know in the comment section below. We are more than happy to help you out in any way we can. Don't forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. Thank you very much in advance!
