About this video: This video is my in-depth guide to buying a 4K drone in 2018. I go over everything you will want to know when it comes to buying a drone. We talk about flight distance, battery life, FPS at 4K, price, and much more. No matter what you are looking for in a drone, you will find it here. We have everything from beginner drones to super professional movie quality drones listed here.
First up is the DJI Mavic Pro. This is an awesome, compact 4K drone that comes in at $872 at the time this video was made. It has 4K 30FPS recording abilities, a 4.3-mile flight distance, and an industry leading 27 minute flight time. If you are looking for a compact, high-quality drone, the DJI Mavic Pro is a great one to consider.
Next up, we actually have a bit of a different pick - the GoPro Karma Drone. Now, I will say that as a drone, the Karma isn't too great, but it is by far the best bang for your buck deal on this list. For just $999, you can get a GoPro Hero 6 Black, a GoPro Karma Drone, a control for the drone, and a handheld gimble for the GoPro Hero 6 Black. If you are just getting into filmmaking and looking for both a GoPro and a drone, this bundle may be the one for you.
Coming in 3rd, we have the DJI Phantom 4 PRO. This is the most affordable professional drone on our list coming in at just $1,399. It has a 4.3-mile flight distance, 30 minutes of battery life, and it lets you do either 4K 60FPS or 4K 30FPS depending on the kind of shot you are going for. If you are a small, local production company that is looking to get into drone video/photography, this is a great drone for you!
The next option on our list is a bit of a lesser-known brand. We are talking about the Yuneec Typhoon H Pro. This is a 4K 30FPS drone that comes with two batteries letting you fly for a combined 40 minutes. The downside here though is that this drone only has a 1-mile flight distance making it very hard to get sweeping drone shots or really long fly out shots. With that being said, for just $999 for a bundle, it is a great deal for someone just getting started with drones.
Lastly, we have the professional level drone from DJI. We are talking about the DJI Inspire 2. This is a stellar drone that is used in movies, TV shows, and super high-budget production. It allows for you to use tons of different cameras with the default one offer both 60 and 30 FPS 4K video. It has a 27 minute flight time and allows for a 4.3-mile flight distance allow for tons of follow shots.
And there you have it! Our in-depth look at the the top 5 best 4K drones in 2018. We hope this video helped you pick the drone you want, and if it did, please give this video a thumbs up and be sure to like the video and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already.
