13We move on to the second part that help to give the Magus their name: The magic. The spells they wield and the unique fashion in which they do are what make them such a versatile class.
Able to channel spells through the weaponry they've enchanted allows them to deal vicious blows to opponents and leave them devastated in the aftermath of such a brutal fusion of melee prowess and arcane precision.
But these unique methods drive them to favoring particular spells; some that are not near as useful to more traditional spellcasters such as a Wizard, but by the flip side of that self same coin: they also are disinclined to make use of other spells that might otherwise be considered classics.
