I completely forgot this map existed, I don't know how because this has got to be one of the most memorable from the set. It mixes up the theme a bit and gives what is possibly the best corrupted techbase level I've played. It is fast paced, full of delicious secrets, and has enough cells and rockets to let you use them as primary weapons the entire map. I've never felt so free to use the plasma and BFG in a non-slaughter map. They aren't infinite, and you do have to plan out your usage to have the right amount of BFG shots at different times, but once you have that figured out it is so much fun. Paul knew exactly what he was doing, constantly giving waves of perfectly spaced monsters to be turned into paste with the BFG, and it is orgasmic every time. Its all set to this fast paced jam of a midi too, which I don't think could be better placed than right here. Really beautiful work. My only complaints are the area with the lifts in a spiral because it screws up the pace of the map, and the name is really lame for such a unique map. I've seen so many other maps with almost the same name. It should be saved only for forgettable techbase filler maps, not something like this.
