Factorio's 248k mod has good puzzle design in the three new beacons.

I like how "optimal" beacon placement in 248k changes for each new tier of beacon, that none of these are vanilla Factorio standard beacon patterns, and the industrial go-to of "build more!" doesn't work when there's a hard cap.

These beacons feel like new puzzles to solve, with tools already understood, in a way that's not just new recipes of inputs & byproducts. That's good mod design.
