유리안

스트리트 파이터 시리즈의 등장인물. 첫 데뷔작은 스트리트 파이터 3 세컨드 임팩트. 캐릭터 도트는 보스 캐릭터였던 길의 것을 재활용했다.

길의 동생이자 비밀 결사의 총통 후보로 함께 교육을 받았던 일원. 길과 더불어 최고의 유전자를 지닌 부모에게서 태어났으며, 양친은 둘 다 박사 학위를 가진 엘리트에 모친쪽은 올림픽 대표로도 활동했던 인물.

길과 마찬가지로 총통의 후계자로 교육받은 후보답게 실력은 뛰어났으나 그나마 인망과 품위를 겸비한 형과 정반대로 정서불안이 의심될 정도로 폭력적이고 고압적인 인성으로 인해 결국 조직 내에서 길에게 밀려 총통자리를 내주고 말았으며, 결국 길에게 문제가 생길 경우 대신할 예비체정도로만 여겨지게 된다. 이에 분개하여 길을 끌어내리고 자기가 총통자리에 오르려고 싸우는게 스토리의 시작.

사실상 작중 내용이나 게임 상의 성능을 봐도 길보다는 실력과 인품 밀리는 모습이 나타나는 것으로 보아 정황상으로 조직 내에서는 2인자로 묘사되는 편이다. 즉 길의 하위 호환이라고 봐고 무방. 그리고 스트리트 파이터 5에서는 비밀 결사의 부총통으로 등장한다.

스파 시리즈에서는 흔치않은 순도 100% 악당 캐릭터로, 나름 괜찮은 구석이 있는 여타 악역들과 대비되는 인간 쓰레기 캐릭터이다. 거의 사이코패스 수준의 이기주의자이며, 그런 인간이 권력 뿐만 아니라 일신의 무력도 강력한 탓에 제지하기도 힘들다. 빼앗긴 총통의 자리도 원래 자신의 것이라 생각하고 길에게 역심을 품고 있으며, 스파 5에서 함께 작전을 진행하는 콜린은 유리안의 고압적이고 자기 멋대로인 지시에 아예 속으로 이를 갈고 있는 수준이다. 제너럴 스토리 A Shadow Falls에서는 갑자기 나타나 비밀결사의 기술로 살려낸 찰리 내쉬의 강함을 직접 시험해보더니, 가볍게 두들겨패서 넉다운시켜버리고는 전혀 쓸모없다면서 맨주먹으로 그대로 패죽이려고 하는 폭력적이고 성격 급한 면모를 보여준다.

스트리트 파이터 3 세컨드 임팩트에 첫 등장. 몸이 빨간색 파란색 반반으로 변하면서 불과 얼음을 다루게 되는 길처럼 이 쪽도 특수한 능력이 있는데, 전투에 들어가면 입고있는 양복을 순식간에 조각낸 뒤 흰 팬티만 남으며, 피부색이 까맣게 변하면서 번개를 다룰 수 있게 되고 몸이 금속처럼 변한다. 평상시 82kg이었던 체중도 전투 모드에 들어가면 112kg으로 늘어난다.

스파 3 세컨드 임팩트의 엔딩에선 총통 자리에 오르는 데 성공하지만...

그저 천제가 되기 위한 길의 계략에 놀아난 것 뿐이었다.

스파 3 서드 스트라이크에서는 "짐이야말로 군림하는 자가 되어야 한다! 어리석은 형에게는 절망의 제재를 내리리라!!"라며 다시 들고 일어선다.

스트리트 파이터 3 서드 스트라이크에서의 캐릭터의 성능은 3흉(凶)이라 하여 마코토, 더들리와 더불어 3강(强)-춘리, 켄, 윤-에 이은 상위 캐릭터 중 하나로 손꼽혔지만 연구에 연구가 거듭되어 현재는 평가가 꽤 내려간 상태. 분명 에이지스 리플렉터 자체의 성능은 사기급이지만 주력 기술들 태반이 모으기 커맨드인데다가 캔슬이 가능한 중공격 이상 통상기가 몇 개 없다는게 한계점으로 손꼽힌다. 만약 커맨드가 모으기가 아니었거나 앉아 중발이 캔슬까지 됐다면 분명 최강이었을 것이다. 모으기 분할을 완벽하게 마스터하는 것이 유리안의 고수가 되는 길. 대표적인 유저로는 RX가 있다.

슈퍼 아츠는 타일런트 퍼니셔, 유피텔 썬더, 에이지스 리플렉터가 있다. 대회나 어디서나 사용하는 건 무조건 에이지스 리플렉터.

게임에서의 강한 모습과 달리 속옷 하나만 달랑입은 복장 때문에 수많은 사람들에게 변태에 후로게이, 초형귀, 심지어 빌리라고 불리운다. 일단 시작포즈부터 양복이 다 찢어지면서 팬티만 입은 울끈불끈한 육체가 드러나는 것이니 참 거시기하다.

셀렉트 시 버튼에 따라 변하는 색이 빨강 파랑 노랑 등 가지가지이며 특히 콘솔판에서만 쓸 수 있는 스타트+강펀치와 스타트+강킥은 락커룸♂에서 뛰쳐나온 모습 그 자체.

언행은 그야말로 과대망상광. 특히 서드에서는 승리 대사들이 가관이다. 게임 중 대사들도 "Get ready to die!!", "Kill!!", "Destroy!!", "Crush!!" 등으로 다 파괴적. 목소리까지 더해져 심히 메탈스럽다. 그야말로 패도주의적이고 독불장군스러운 이미지를 나타내고 있다.


Urien

Urien (ユリアン Yurian?) is a video game character from the Street Fighter series, first appearing in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact. He is a ruthless and malevolent former disciple of the Secret Society, resenting the supremacy that the organization entrusted to his older brother, Gill.


Personality

Urien's personality can be best described as tyrannical and authoritative, much in contrast with the benevolent and compassionate nature of his brother Gill (though in reality Gill's far from a good person and is quite fanatical).

Urien also renounces any noble traits and elements associated with leadership, regarding them as worthless, and instead seeks fear and subjugation through his reign, much like a despotic, oppressive, totalitarian, and domineering tyrant. Accordingly, he screams phrases such as "crush", "destroy" and "kill" during most of his special attacks, which - along with their names - highlight his violent and destructive nature, and also points to a lack of self-control stemming from emotional instability. He is also shown to very arrogant though this may be at least somewhat justified as he is shown to be a very strong fighter overall.

It can be also seen Urien is extremely distrustful and suspicious of anyone else but himself, with a constant vigilance against insubordination and betrayal to allies and enemies alike, perhaps as a subconscious result of his domineering and tyrannical behavior and an instinctual fear of someone out to get him in retaliation as a result. As such, he antagonizes his comrades and associates like he would his adversaries, calling Helen a 'rat' and chastising her for plotting behind his back. Urien displays a level of shortsightedness when he tries to kill Nash on a whim after defeating him, despite Urien's very own technology being used in Nash's resurrection. Urien's patience runs thin when dealing with those he deems 'Commoners', as shown when he throws an Aegis Reflector at Rashid for so much as touching him. In Gill's character story, Urien displays both his anger and jealousy towards Gill.


Fighting style and abilities

Like Gill, Urien's basic fighting style is possibly based on the ancient Greek Olympic discipline of Pankration. Urien also underwent the same Secret Society physical training program, though his grasp of the more advanced techniques of the program is fairly limited, reflected by his relatively simpler Super Arts compared to the much more advanced ones of his brother; this may also be the reason behind Urien's mostly charge-based set of special attacks.

Where Gill wields fire and ice, Urien can wield lightning and make his body metallic; he can create electrified spheres similar to his brother's projectiles, and can also use similar knee drops, headbutts, and charging tackles, all with the potential to shock opponents.
