Thought I'd try switching to SNK Groove in Capcom vs. SNK Pro on Dreamcast: I hate manually charging the super meter, but I'm pretty terrible with supers anyway, so I figured I'd just not bother with 'em this way, plus it means I get then-SNK artist (who would move over to Capcom when SNK went bust!) Shinkiro's versions of my character portraits! ^_^
Although I guess you can do a super with only half the SNK meter or something? And it charges up a little on its own as you take damage? Because a couple times I accidentally triggered off a super. : o Other than that though, SNK grooving went really well, I think I'll stick with it! : D
0:00 - Option Mode - Game Option (confirming 4/8 difficulty)
1:30 - Arcade Mode w/...EX (Evil) Ryu
15:08 - Joe, Cammy, Ken
38:36 - Dan, Blanka , E.Honda (1cc)
1:03:26 - wrap-up & what's next!
I'd forgotten that you toggle Run or Dash in Game Option (the only thing the Grooves do in this game is change your power meter--and the character art ;); I was just trying Run in CvS2 and found it really sluggish, so I'd assumed I had been on Dash in Pro--but I think Run is just much more responsive here than in the sequel!
