A quick video tonight. This small, portable B&W TV has the 1980 Москва (Moscow) Olympics emblem and can run on 220VAC or 12VDC.

I don't have the correct plug but it looks like I can run the TV directly on 12VDC.

My original thought was to see if it had a similar flyback transformer as the VL-100 model but it is different. It does appear to have similar design ideas though - downward facing dual speakers, the way the boards open up ... ?

Not sure if it works but it might be interesting to tinker with it. Of course two things to remember: it doesn't have a "composite" or baseband input jack, and it's probably expecting a SECAM (?) signal.

{Yes, "composite" is composite colour signal ... luma & chroma ... and this is a luma-only television ... but "you know what I mean"}
