Did you ever see the UFO version of Eggman and say to yourself "damn, I wish I could play as him"? No? Well then you'll be disappointed with this oddity of a video.

So, as I've stated a couple of times prior, this game features his cutscene models as character models. As a result, this means that characters like Rocket Metal and UFO Eggman are playable through hacking, and work just like any other character. UFO Eggman of course allows mirror matches to work in the game, although the fact that he takes up his own character slot is a touch surprising. His default moveset is Knuckles' which is the same with Rocket Metal and Honey the Cat. This further adds to my theory that the mech-less version of Eggman was originally meant to be a hidden character, given that he has different animations and a moveset based off of his boss version, whereas the other unused hidden models instead take Knuckles moveset as default.

This isn't anything too special as a video, but it's always nice to cover an oddity such as this. Interestingly enough, you can do Knuckles' glide attack with this version of Eggman, yet it will never actually hit the opponent. Needless to say, you're not missing out on anything by not playing as this character.
