Soldiers from 7th Armoured Brigade in Germany known as the 'Desert Rats' are currently making their way to Afghanistan to start operations as part of 3 Commando Brigade. Their journey starts at Hannover airport in the early hours of the morning. The troops will join the Mercian battle group on Herrick 14. British Forces News reporter Annie Haresign caught up with them before they left.
