A couple of Jaleco games were significant throughout both my childhood and adult life.

I grew up playing Super E.D.F. with my dad, with neither of us being able to survive the stage 4 boss at the time; I only learned how to survive the full game by watching Zakky stream it in the mid-2010s.

My dad and I also rented Operation Logic Bomb, but neither of us could beat the second boss (which is easily the hardest part, especially without either mashing or using a secret weapon). About 5 years ago, I learned to speedrun it, and together with Zakky and JackimusWedge, we collectively pushed the record down by about a full minute, with all 3 of us ending up with times surpassing the WR prior to that point. (Later, Le_Hulk would come out of left field and obliterate all of our times.)

I had never played Fortified Zone as a kid, but when I stumbled across Macaw45 streaming it once, it absolutely blew my mind, for two reasons: I distinctly remembered it from an old issue of Nintendo Power as something that always looked interesting to me but I had never played, and because it is actually part of the same series as Operation Logic Bomb!

Not all of these playthroughs went swimmingly this time around, but either way I got to demonstrate pretty much the entirety of all of the games.
