About this video: This is a complete guide to Core Protect. I show you everything from how to find who griefed land with /co inspect to how to rollback grief with /co rollback. Core Protect is the best way to stop grief on your Minecraft server. It is a must-have plugin for any Minecraft survival or factions server. It can even come in handy on SkyBlock servers. Thus, let's go ahead and setup Core Protect on our Minecraft server!

Before you can install Core Protect on your server, you will need to download it. You can find the Core Protect download link the description above. Once you have it downloaded, just drop it into the plugins folder. After your server starts with Core Protect for the first time, you will have the Core Protect config file. In it, you will have all the options CoreProtect has.

For example, you can setup CoreProtect to run on MySQL using this config file. You can also go through and edit what data CoreProtect saves in the first place in order to make sure that it doesn't run out of space on your server or store things that you don't need to know such as natural leaf decay or falling blocks. Additionally, if you are worried about the space CoreProtect is using on your server, you can use MySQL mentioned above.

As far as finding the person who griefed on your Minecraft server, just do /co inspect in game. This will allow you to right click on blocks that were placed to see who placed them. It will also allow you to left click on blocks there were removed to see who removed them. This also works on lava and water sources allowing you to fix any grief involving those liquids.

After you have found the grief, you will need to rollback the grief. You can do this using the /co rollback command. This command has a bunch of different parameters, but you must always have a username and a time. This is formated like /co rollback user:(griefer's username) time:(time amount). You can find the time and who griefed using the /co i command above.

If you accidentally roll something back, you can restore it using the /co restore command. This will remove any rollbacks. It uses the same parameters as /co rollback allowing you to easily replace any accidental rollbacks. Last but not least, Core Protect features a lookup command that can be run with /co lookup. It has the same parameters as rollbacks and restores, but it will just show you the data. This can be great for finding where are player has griefed/placed blocks in the past.

And there is a complete overview of the Core Protect commands. If you have any questions about this complete admin guide to Core Protect, please let us know in the comment section down below.
