Custom maps are a great way to switch things up in Minecraft, and 1.14.1 takes things to a whole new level with the cool new gameplay mechanics in adds. Overall, adding custom maps to Minecraft 1.14.1 is very easy, and this video shows you exactly how to do it. Thus, without any further delay, let's get some 1.14.1 custom Minecraft maps!
First and foremost, we need to download our custom map. There are thousands of Minecraft custom amps, and we have a link in the description above to 15 great 1.14.1 custom maps. It has everything from 1.14.1 dropper maps to 1.14.1 survival and parkour maps. We cover every category to help you find the best map you possibly can.
After you have your map downloaded, we need to install your custom map in Minecraft 1.14.1. This a very simple process. Start off by unzipping the file you downloaded. Then, open the file and keep click until you see 'data', 'DIM1', 'DIM-1'. Once you do, go back one folder and drag that to your desktop. You can delete everything else but this folder.
Now, we need to open up the 'Run' desktop app and search for '%appdata%' and hit enter. You will then have a '.minecraft' folder. Open that, and then, you will have a 'saves' folder. Open that folder and drag and drop your 1.14.1 Minecraft custom maps into this folder to add it to Minecraft. Next, open up Minecraft 1.14.1, click single player and select your map. You are now good to go!
