About this video: In this video, I show you how to download Minecraft 1.14.2. With that, I also show you how to install Minecraft 1.14.2 with the Minecraft launcher. Minecraft 1.14.2 is apart of the incredible Village and Pillage update for Minecraft. This was one of the buggier Minecraft updates, and Minecraft 1.14.2 works towards fixing some of those bugs. Thus, let's go ahead and get it installed!
First things first, you will need a copy of Minecraft Java Edition. You can purchase it from the link in the description above. Once you have purchased Minecraft, you need to install the Minecraft launcher. This can also be found using the link in the description above. Once you have the Minecraft Launcher downloaded, you can download Minecraft 1.14.2.
To do this, click the three lines in the top of the Minecraft Launcher. Then, select 'launch options'. After that, you will click 'add new'. Next, click the drop down box to the right of version. Select the 'Release 1.14.2'. Make sure to give the profile a name, and click 'Save'. Now to download Minecraft 1.14.2, go back to the 'news' tab in the Minecraft launcher, click the little green arrow next to the play button, and then select the 1.14.2 profile you just created. Now, click play. Minecraft 1.14.2 will now download and install!
