"A Drop of Light" by CastriX {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
1,409CastriX is back with another level, and this is quite different from his other works. While he has shown some art skills in the past, it has mostly been design levels, but this one is different. It’s a fullblown art level with a clear theme throughout. Everything is grayscale (except if you go for the coin), and the visuals and text match this well. I love the attention to detail for both the designs and art, which go well together with such contrasting colors (black and white), and the inverse pulses look nice, although they may not fit the song's intensity too much. The gameplay at the start can be a bit frustrating at first if you don’t tap the trigger orbs immediately, but you get used to it quickly. Overall, though, I think this is one of CastriX's better levels personally, at least thematically, and I think it should get an Epic rating.

Viprin Certified. 4/4. The level only has one coin, which has all the main components I look for. It’s very difficult to figure out and actually get compared to the normal route, but it’s not annoying to get, which is nice. At the same time, the theming of it makes it very original, enough so to make me give it the highest rating. The level is normally completely grayscale, but going for the coin gives the level more and more color…
• 1st coin: Viprin Certified. At 1:01, you can see a colorful collectible, and a slightly visible dash orb behind the tree. This one’s both easy to find and get, but it’s a nice introduction to the coin route. I really like the custom collectible design, as well as the effect it makes when you get it. For the second one, you have to keep holding at 1:06, which is quite difficult to figure out. For the Cube part at 1:12, you have to color all the arrows by touching them, and for the Wave at 1:24 you need to hold during the straight parts. This level has a pretty dark theme, which is seen in its color scheme, and I love the concept of coloring in parts of it, giving it more life, to get the coin. At 1:34, you have to skip the dash orb. This makes you stay upside-down for the next part, and can be tricky to do. It takes you to an alternate route with some epic art that gives you more color. At 2:01 and 2:07, there are dash orbs behind the black pillars that allow you to reach the final 2 collectibles. I’m not a big fan of how hidden these are, but that’s a minor complaint. Now, the end at 2:10 is colorful instead of just grayscale, and you get the coin and a text congratulating you. This coin visual is usually grayscale, featuring text saying that you need to color it to get it. It’s clear that CastriX put a lot of work into this coin. The theming of it is perfect as I explained above, and it has good difficulty considering the level’s normal gameplay. It’s amazing to see a coin tie into a level’s theme in such a great and unique way, making it a deserved Viprin Certified rating.
