A gazillion rabbits crossing the cycle path

The right side with the bushes is their 'safe' side. The moment I get close, regardless of my speed, they'll cross right in front of me. In fact they seem to judge my speed correctly. I just wish they wouldn't wait until the very last moment, as if to dodge this scary predator who's trying to catch them. I've encountered this situation often enough to be able to anticipate the rabbits' movements to a large extent. There's really not much you can do other than to keep rolling and to be very watchful.
