A Quest 2 SUPERHERO GAME has finally arrived...and it's awesome! // RESIST Quest 2 Gameplay
0Finally, thanks to the new Quest 2 game Resist, Oculus Quest 2 owners have a native VR superhero experience which let's them explore an open world VR city equipped with grappling gloves, a jetpack, dual weilding pistols and a whole host of upgradable abilities. This is easily the most fleshed out VR superhero game I've played to date, even if you're not strictly a superhero in the game (more of a secret agent with amazing tech) you'll soon feel exactly like Spiderman or Bionic Commando as you swing through the city taking down drones and giant robots... it's such a rush but those with sensitive VR stomachs might want to bring a sick bag along for the ride. If you've seen the VR superhero experiences on PC VR or PSVR and have been tired of not being able to enjoy something similar on the Oculus Quest 2 or perhaps you just want the closest thing to a Spiderman Quest 2 game then RESIST is definitely worth checking out!
I've played most of the other VR superhero games or games that fall into a similar category (open world VR games with superhero / crazy power elements) and Resist VR feels like the most fleshed out experience to date. The game not only gives players a huge open world city to swing around in but it also packs a full storymode, sidequests, upgradable abilities and collectible tokens for the player to engage with, this is the most substantial game of this genre so far. Those who have a fear of heights or who get nauseous easily might want to play with the comprehensive comfort options here before embarking on some full blown Resist VR gameplay sessions, the swinging is very fast and very intense, this is actually the first game that's made my legs wobble from fear of imaginary heights in quite a long time... the vertigo here felt very real!
