Firing up Absolver both to further troubleshoot some microphone issues (one of them seems to be dying after 10+ years of use!), and also to gather my thoughts on the game and see how I feel about it in 2021. The current community of die-hard players turned me away a few times already, but I still miss the game and would love to be able to make it a regular thing. For now, I think I'm at least going to see what I think after running through the three downfall bosses (Mines, Temples, and Fold), and maybe see if YouTube likes it, too.

I posted it in the previous video as well, but my review and the accompanying Google doc sums up my general thoughts on things. I think overall the only way I'll be able to make Absolver work is to carve out my own community rather than interact with the PC diehards. Since I don't have the type of viewership that players like Peeve do, I think regular Absolver streams might be beyond my reach.
