Description:
Cloud is an ex-SOLDIER turned mercenary, who accepts a job from Avalanche, an eco-terrorist group that opposes his former employer. Unfortunately, the ultimate SOLDIER Sephiroth resurfaces after his apparent death, threatening all life on the planet once more.

Barret's Maximum Fury is really good because it aims for the next enemy if the earlier shots kill the current target.

This will be your go-to gauntlet for this chapter if you need to AP grind. Personally, I recommend mastering the Time materia. Some of the bosses in this chapter are actually vulnerable to it.
18:55 Two-Person Team vs Team Payback
You have to take on a bunch of familiar minibosses before taking on a new Cutter variant, the Jury-Rigged Cutter, so make sure you have Assess. You can also use the Enemy Skill materia to learn Algid Aura from the drake.

You have to defeat Andrea in a pull-up minigame. It's way harder than the squats minigame due to having a figure 8 pattern and because the pattern is randomized. This makes it hard to develop muscle memory.

Betty needs the party to find her three specific music discs. One of them might already be in your inventory if you went to Corneo Colosseum first.

According to Madam M, Corneo's goons are still looking for Barret, and they're skulking around in Sector 5. Unfortunately, they came prepared with a classic and deadly foe.

It can counter spells, but not at the very start of the fight.

Leslie agrees to help us get to Topside as long as we escort him through the sewers. Before going, make sure to free Kotch in the mansion's dungeon.

Some paths are closed because of the plate fall, but there are also new ones.
A spawn of Abzu steals something important from Leslie, and you have to chase it while fighting off lesser spawns.

It will have backup, so make sure to have Magnify Fire.

Leslie reveals that the Don forced his fiancee to attend to him and she never returned.
To get to the treasure stash for the quest, you have to lower the water level.

Make sure to loot the room for the sake of that quest.
At the next story location, Corneo reveals that Shinra is after him and wants to punish him for telling Avalanche about the plate drop plan, since this allowed Avalanche to save people and potentially ruin the narrative. Leslie tries to hold him at gunpoint, but Corneo easily subdues him. I guess being a Square Enix pretty boy isn't enough to be a badass.

It fights mostly the same, but with higher stats and a ton of minions. In the third phase, you should cast stop when he's pressured, which will make it easier to stagger him.

Tifa convinces Leslie to hold out hope that his lover is still alive.

Leslie gives you grappling guns to climb the wall and get to topside.
1:19:07 Donating Corneo's Secret Stash
To complete the sidequest, talk to Marle in Evergreen Park.

Damon is now a fan of the Angel of the Slums because we donated the Don's stash in her name. I guess once he saw how bad things were after the plate fall, he realized that the Angel is necessary.
