Description:

Cloud is an ex-SOLDIER turned mercenary, who accepts a job from Avalanche, an eco-terrorist group that opposes his former employer. Avalanche believes that Shinra's Mako Reactors will drain Gaia of its Lifestream, dooming the environment in the process. Unfortunately, the ultimate SOLDIER Sephiroth resurfaces after his apparent death, threatening all life on the planet once more.

This is one of those bosses where Synergy can backfire, since it can absorb magic. To get rid of the absorption, you must wait for it to cast gravity and then deal sufficient damage, which will remove the aura and pressure it.

Now you can bring back the chocobo of this area.

7:40 Sector 5 Station

You can find another chocobo on the way to Aerith's church.

8:27 Wall Market

For the third chocobo, make your way through the collapsed expressway.

They are very resistant to damage unless you interrupt one of their named attacks/spells, force them to generate a clone, and then kill the clone. Unlike me, hold onto magnify blizzard until after they start preparing a named action.

Talk to Ms. Folia to learn the kids disappeared. What would happen if you found them at the gravesite before talking to her?

I wonder if casting Raise would have been more efficient than waiting for them to cast reflect and breaching it. Seriously, some pressure/stagger conditions really suck because they depend too much on enemy AI.

Kyrie stole Johnny's wallet. Also, this quest is concurrent with Corneo's Secret Stash.

Kyrie will give back the wallet if we take care of her colosseum match.

I used the Raise strategy since the miniboss is actually undead for some reason.

Kyrie tries to avoid giving us Johnny's wallet and Corneo's key, but Mireille scolds her. Turns out she's Mireille's granddaughter, but she didn't inherit the Angel of the Slums's ideals.

39:37 Corneo's Secret Stash

Mireille gives hints about the locations of Corneo's tiaras, but one of them is in the next story dungeon. For now, you can get the one in the Sector 5 junkyard and the one at the start of the collapsed expressway.

Also, don't forget to return Johnny's wallet.

You have to fight through several familiar minibosses before facing the source of the roaring sounds. Turns out the Failed Experiment wasn't responsible for that noise.

49:04 Boss: Type-0 Behemoth

The boss can counter magic while its horns are intact. You have to stagger it by crippling the upper and lower body, but note that when one part is down, the boss's attack patterns change, though Cloud can counter those simplistic melee attacks. If you take too long, the boss will power up.

You have to break the horn in order to disable the counterattack, allowing you to use magic again. This can only be done when the boss is staggered, and breaking the horn instantly ends stagger.

At the end of the fight, the boss will survive with 1 HP, roar, and drop boulders from the ceiling.
