Description:
Cloud is an ex-SOLDIER turned mercenary, who accepts a job from Avalanche, an eco-terrorist group that opposes his former employer. Avalanche believes that Shinra's Mako Reactors will drain Gaia of its Lifestream, dooming the environment in the process. Unfortunately, the ultimate SOLDIER Sephiroth resurfaces after his apparent death, threatening all life on the planet once more.

Once you drop her off, sidequests will open up, but Cloud has to do them all by himself.

Chocobo Sam will be giving out the sidequests for this run, since I picked his favorable dialogue choices.
3:19 Burning Thighs
Remember Zack's squatting minigame? This version is more complicated and the UI goes invisible after a few reps. You also have to worry about button mashing QTEs.
11:33 The Party Never Stops
You have to go all over town to find the clothing store owner's inspiration. You'll get additional rewards if you've mastered certain materia. Fortunately, they don't all have to be equipped on Cloud, they just need to exist in the party's inventory or slots in some form.
29:27 A Dynamite Body
You have to fight two Bombs in the arena with only Cloud, and they're quite difficult due to their lack of any elemental weaknesses. To pressure them, you must deal enough damage while they're in the middle of an attack, and it's safest to use Thunder while they're doing their flamethrower. Unlike me, you should inflict sleep on one of them so that the other one can be isolated.

Tifa's going to be in the next audition, but Leslie states that even though Aerith has an invite, Cloud as a guy will not be allowed in. Aerith recommends asking Andrea Rhodea for help.
40:52 Honeybee Inn
We have to dance for this establishment. While Cloud says he doesn't dance, he never said he couldn't.
You need to get good or better on all inputs in the practice round to get the music disc.
46:04 Dancing for Real
I managed to avoid any bad input, though 3 of them were good but not great.
51:19 The Third Auditionee
Cloud gets a makeover and looks a lot like his mom. If Sephiroth's bottom half in the crater wasn't missing, he would be telling his Masamune to calm down.
53:27 Wall Market
You can talk to people to see their reactions. Unfortunately, Chadley is too confused to sell materia, so hopefully you didn't need an extra copy of anything.
If you talk to Andrea, he'll hint that he knows what you're up to, but he supports you, despite him technically working for the Don.
58:33 Corneo's Mansion
Cloud and Aerith are ordered to enter a room, but it fills with knockout gas. When they wake up, they're reunited with Tifa, who wants to question Don about why he sent thugs after Barret.
Corneo will always choose Cloud in the remak while the OG makes it possible for him to choose anyone.
After Tifa and Aerith knock out some mooks in a cutscene, Leslie delivers our equipment from Andrea.
Make sure to grab the Fury Ring, since it inflicts permanent Berserk on the wearer. This is a bit redundant on Cloud though.
We interrogate Corneo and it turns out Shinra ordered the hit on Barret and that they plan on destroying the Sector 7 pillar to send that section of the plate crashing down, all to wipe out Barret's branch and stoke another war against Wutai.
Unfortunately, Corneo activates his trap door.

Reeve tries to convince President Shinra to abandon the plan to drop the plate, but the prez doesn't care about civilians.
1:16:34 Sector 6 Sewers
1:19:01 Boss: Abzu
Hitting the horns with fire magic will pressure it, though it can dive into the water to douse the flames. If it's on the wall, you need to quickly hit it with fire to prevent it from doing a really nasty pounce or water attack. In the second half of the fight, it'll gain the Berserk status.
1:21:14 Sector 6 Sewers
Abzu will run away, and now we have to find our way out of the sewers.
