AD&D: Cloudy Mountain (TI-89 Glitchless) in 0:57.90 [World Record]
4Achieved on December 28, 2020 on Virtual TI emulator. Despite having no sound, color, and a nightmare to play on an actual TI-89, this version is actually pretty good! It's harder and faster than the original Intellivision version which is a huge plus for me, and the status bar at the bottom is the cherry on top, giving all the information you need.
This category bans holding the 🠉 and ◆ keys (Shift and Control if using Virtual TI) when entering mountains to instantly beat them. My goal for this was under a minute which I was able to salvage! The route taken here is identical to the Glitchless route of the original Intellivision version: collect an axe, beat another mountain and bam, you're suddenly at Cloudy Mountain. RNG was just okay overall because I didn't find any arrows during the run! As a result, I had to go around the long way to find the second crown half but that didn't detract too much time at all.
