Aero the Acro-Bat 2 Game Sample - SNES/SFC
Aero's march to fame continued in this pleasant (but not as original) sequel to the original Aero the Acro-Bat. It's said that this was also dedicated to Ayrton Senna da Silva, one of the greatest Formula One racers who ever lived, who died the same year in a fatal FO car accident. The game is mostly more of the same, though there is no timer and no listed stage requirements. You find plenty of secret areas and look for the exit.
Aero the Acro-Bat 2 improves somewhat in most areas, from the visuals to the gameplay. Its story is also more defined this time with in-game cutscenes. It was released alongside the spin-off, Zero: the Kamikaze Squirrel, which stars Edgar Ektor's (the bad guy) right-hand man (Zero). Aero still spins and flys through levels, and can corkscrew straight down now and use more funky level contraptions. This is a video of the first few levels. Enjoy.
