A fully functional freeware Airbus A380 model for Microsoft Flight Simulator X (all versions including the Steam Edition) and Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D (all versions including P3Dv4).
You really won't believe this add-on is freeware - it's almost payware quality.
The add-on features a fully functional 3D virtual cockpit (VC) along with many advanced FSX/P3D native animations.
The package available to download from Fly Away Simulation includes over 12 repaints out-of-the-box including liveries for; Lufthansa, China Southern, ANA 'Fly A380 to Honolulu', Emirates Expo 2020, HiFly 'Coral Reefs Protection', Korean Air, Emirates 'United for Wildlife', British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Asiana Airlines, and Etihad. More liveries will be added to the add-on when they become available.
The add-on includes a full sound pack with RR (Rolls Royce) engine sounds which are ultra-realistic.
Also included is a fully functional FMC (flight management computer) which adds that extra depth of detail to your simulated flights.
This model for FSX and P3D is quite possibly the best freeware Airbus A380 package you can find.
This add-on has been developed to be a "next-gen" add-on which means it utilizes the full functionality of the latest features of Prepar3D and FSX: Steam Edition. It's not a port-over from FS2004 or anything like that.
Package originally compiled by Chris Evans with works from various developers/artists including Project Airbus (main model), Thomas Ruth (VC), Louis Quintero, Garret Smith (FMC), various repaint authors and repackaged by Fly Away Simulation.
The file is released as freeware which means it is free to download and use.
This video was created in P3Dv4 (v4.5).
Compatible with all versions of FSX including the Steam Edition and compatible with all versions of Prepar3D including v4. Tested (and confirmed) in v4.5.
