Akumajō Dracula X: Chi no Rondo [ PC Engine ] - Intro & Gameplay
Today we're continuing the work we started with yesterday, namely making simple videos with the intro and gameplay of various games.
This, is Akumajō Dracula X: Chi no Rondo
English title Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
Developed back in 1993 for the PC Engine, before Konami became a cartoon villain of insanity, Chi no Rondo puts the player in the shoes of Richter Belmont ( Belmondo ), he is a direct descendant to the legendary Simon Belmont ( 'Aah, my hair!' ). Dracula, having been resurrected by the dark Priest Shaft though human sacrificing is once again waging his war against humanity.
I played this game the first time as the compliation Dracula X Chronicles for PSP, and there was one notable difference I discovered between that PSP game, and the unlockable original game. And taht's that the original game's alterante first boss is much harder!
The game plays like classic Castlevania titles except I'd say that Richter feels a lot more agile which is a good thing. It is a good game for sure and the cutscene with the German voice over is very nicely animated.
If you like Castlevania, you'll most certainly like this.
After all, let's not forget.
