Excited to be working on this fangame project. In an incredible world of Sonic fangames, Sonic's worthy predecessor doesn't always get a whole lot of love. Alex Kidd and the Miracle Gems is in many ways intended to feel like the Genesis Sonic-era Alex Kidd game we never got as a love letter to pre-Sonic Sega.

The level design shown is just a test zone and some of the characters are still works in progress, but I believe this is far enough along to be able to share!
