This is a fun little romp that channels a bit of the cakewalk-y feel of a lot of early ragtime, the type that might be named "Old Man Roberts" or something. While the name followed the composition, I feel like it captures well the feeling of chasing after an escaped chicken, even down to the clucks and flutters.
In many ways, this is the culmination of a lot of practice and advice. The detailed varied pacing of the left hand and using more grace notes and trills were two specific pieces of advice I got that I tried to implement here, and I think it helped this be one of my best rags yet. Thank you for everyone that's given *constructive* advice! I'm still learning, and it can be tricky when you only play and compose by ear.
