"Years ago, our heroes Alex and Stella set out to find the Miracle Gems and return the stars to the Aries sky. But when the evil Janken the Great, freed from petrification, discovers the power of the stars contained within the Miracle Gems, he seeks revenge and returns, far more powerful than before, to take the kingdom of Radaxian by force. It's up to Alex Kidd, Stella, and Prince Egle to save Radaxian and return the stars to the Aries sky once again."

Been working for a few months on this fangame and wanted to show all progress to date! In many ways, this game is sort of a "what if", a creative take on a Sonic-era Alex Kidd game we never got. Only about two zones in, but have made a lot of progress with enemies, special stages, initial bosses, and more. I've also been making all the music and most unique sprites myself!

Built in Not-So-Simple Sonic Worlds (thanks to LakeFepard) with some pieces ported back from Not-So-Simple Sonic Advance Worlds (thanks to Ice) and with the partner system for Alex+Stella by Carlos, Ice, Lighto, and Rifty.
