Just a little something I spent a few hours doing for fun. Simple, mindless shooting fun with RPG elements. The character can be customized in just about every fashion. Base stats, weapon specializations, equipment, and a unique perk that can be upgraded.

Light is a big part of gameplay. Aliens love to disable power sources and turn out lights. Plus the more... "exotic" weapons tend to blow out nearby light sources by accident. Night vision eventually turns up as a light upgrade, but I think it's more fun to stick with a flashlight and flare gun.

You'll also notice a couple particularly fun design choices the developers made. Namely portions where the game hands you a vehicle and pits you against incredible mobs of enemies. "Fun" barely begins to describe the vehicle shots in this video. If you're into instant gratification with replay value, try this one out. It's high quality stuff.
