An early gem from Game Arts is a platform game with a bit of a twist. Alisia has the power to shoot lighting from her hands adding in a bit of a run and gun element added to that you can swap between four animal companion that aid you in battle. It's an excellent game that that didn't get the credit it was due back in the 1990s. These days it's seen as cult classic and rightly so as it make perfect use of the power of the Mega Drive in ever way, great soundtrack too. Not the longest game in the world at only eight stages, it does however get rather hard from stage six onwards. If you're a fan of this genre this is one title well worth adding to your collection.
Game Arts haven't re-released Alisia Dragoon on any other format.
